When you visit our website we will collect information about you and about your use it such as
pages visited etc. Much of that information will be ‘personal data’; i.e. information relating to you
that allows you to be identified or identifiable from it.
Website Browsing
When browsing our site, you are not required to provide any personal information unless and until you choose to make a purchase or sign up for one of our e-mail newsletters or other services as described below. Enquiries and bookings
If you complete our enquiry form we will record the information that you submit including your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, details of your enquiry such as dates and preferences such as notes you submit. We may also record information such as your passport number and flight details where these are provided by the person making the booking with us. We use this information to respond to your enquiry and/or secure your booking and to communicate with you. We retain information about enquiries for up to ten years. As bookings must be secured via a credit card we will collect and process payment card information and will retain the data permitted under the payment card data security standard (PCI DSS) for up to two months. Where a booking is made on behalf of someone else, we will record information about the person making the booking as well as the people travelling. If you are making a reservation for one or more travellers other than yourself, you must ensure that each of these other travellers agrees, in advance, that you may disclose their personal information to us.
For your convenience, we make certain information about your reservation available to you or other persons authorized by you to receive such information. For example, if you forgot your flight
number, you or another person authorized by you may retrieve that information from us after
providing information sufficient in our eyes to confirm your identity or that such other person is
authorized by you to receive that information.
Member Registration
If you choose to become a registered member of tobys-resort.com we will use the information you provide to us to communicate with you via email about fare sales, special offers, new tobys-
resort.com services, and other noteworthy items. However, you may choose at any time to no
longer receive these types of e-mail messages.
Online Surveys
tobys-resort.com values opinions and comments from members, so we may conduct online surveys. Participation in these surveys is entirely optional. Typically, the information is aggregated and used to make improvements to tobys-resort.com and to develop appealing content, features and promotions for members. Survey participants are anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey. Promotions & Sweepstakes tobys-resort.com may sponsor promotions and sweepstakes to give members the opportunity to win great travel and travel-related prizes.
